Safety & Compliance

Our core value is taking responsibility.

Engaging with our employees, the community, the environment, the facilities, the trucks, and all the equipment it takes to operate effectively is a responsibility that must be managed on a daily basis.

The planned maintenance schedules monitor manning requirements, standards and regulations, safety and hygiene, pollution, physical and structural conditions, and towing equipment. BTI maintains good relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, and strictly adheres to all rules and regulations, enabling them to focus on professional relationships with customers, vendors, and communities it serves.

Our policies and programs.

Performance Tracking — We track and report all operations against industry safety standards.

Stop Work Authority — We have an individual and shared commitment to safe processes and guidelines.

Continuous Improvement — We develop and implement procedures that help to prevent incidents, and we review best practices.

Sustainability & Ethics

We protect our future.

  • We operate in compliance with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, Washington Department of Natural Resources, the Departments of Transportation in Montana, Idaho and Washington, and all regulatory groups to protect our people, our communities and the environment.

  • We maintain inventories of environmental protection and response products to ensure other businesses are equipped to protect against environmental release.
